My Podcast: The Holmes Archive of Electronic Music
My blog for the Bob Moog Foundation.
In this episode, I create a new soundscape by revisiting the practice of using vintage shortwave radio sounds and my own electronic music. The radio sounds were recorded from various global sources and include Interval signals, Identification signals, and the chatter from all over the world. The electronic accompaniment was created using sounds from a variety of plug-in. This is a sound work about changing textures that transform through a gradual process. This audio adventure is about an hour and forty minutes long and I do hope you enjoy listening to it. Details about each of the tracks is found in the playlist for the podcast.
